Sustainable agriculture brands: Halcyon Agri inherited Corrie MacColl with the acquisition of RCMA. Corrie MacColl was founded in 1780 and are now revolutionising the natural rubber industry because they operate in a sustainable way through the entire supply chain. Environmental and social responsibility drives the way rubber is now grown, processed and distributed.
‘Modern heritage’ became the idea that inspired the group’s brand identity. We wanted to present a company tracing its roots back to 1780 and also showcase a forward-looking business. From the King Fisher crest, to colour and copy all the visual and verbal elements communicate the long-term vision of the business. Corrie MacColl are setting the benchmark for the industry by focusing on the triple-bottom-line.
Tangible worked with Corrie MacColl to create frameworks that articulated the triple-bottom-line of people, profit and planet. Sustainable initiatives were parked under 5 key areas of: Community Engagement, Economic Sustainability, Environment, Responsible Supply Chain and Stakeholder Engagement. Tangible then designed the proprietary product brands; HeveaPro and LatexPro.
Tangible aligned the entire suite of business brands that collectively made up the Corrie MacColl Group. Within the group Hevecam & Sudcam lead plantation with a combined land concession of 100,000 hectares in Cameroon. Alan L Grant, Centrotrade and Wufbain distribute specialist rubber and latex grades to a myriad of industries. Kelvin Terminals and Momentum Technologies Laboratories provide logistic and technical support.
